GRIT Leadership camp is designed especially for adolescent girls, aged 13 - 16 years; it lets girls open up and explore new activities, form meaningful friendships, and develop important confidence and leadership skills.

There exists a stark “confidence gap” between the minds of women and men. In short, when men overestimate their ability to perform well, women are quick to underestimate their performance. They are generally less confident about their abilities and seem to prefer to criticize rather than complement their own skill levels. During key developmental stages, girls are more vulnerable than ever to the pressures of subtle societal messaging.

 

GRIT Leadership Camp helps girls during this key developmental stage helps to gain the self-confidence they need to grow into successful women, and to know their worth and value their strengths instead of dwelling on their perceived weaknesses. The key principles taught will guide them through their adolescence into adulthood.

The camp is R5000 per girl, all inclusive of accommodation, transport, catering, all activities and camp souveneirs! There will be two pick-up points around Gauteng, 1) Monte Casino and 2) Eastgate Shopping centre.
